Today I read the letters written to the younger generation by Mr. Xu Teli in the Journal of China Youth at one sitting. The more I read, the stronger I felt. The more intimate I felt, the more I wanted to read. Just as he said,"A communist is supposed to know anything, master anything, learn anything, do anything, contact any kind of people, and live any kind of life.” I was deeply inspired and educated by these words, which was what I should know and what I must follow. I will keep his wholesome words in mind forever and implement it through all my words and actions. I am determined to make myself a real communist, who can make a contribution to human beings.
I must do as the Party and Chairman Mao say and dedicate my youth to the finest cause in all over the world--the fight for the liberation of mankind.
