　　过去，我是个孤苦伶仃的穷光蛋。

　　现在，我是个光荣的共产党员，国家的主人。

　　将来，我永远是党的忠实儿女，人民的勤务员。

In the past, I was a lonely poverty-stricken child. At present, I am a glorious member of the Communist Party as well as the master of the country. In the future, I will forever be a loyal child of the Party as well as a servant of the people.
